William Abel "Bill" Hudson, 82, son of the late Mr. John D. Hudson and Mrs. Permelia Hall Hudson, was born March 29, 1885 in Green County and departed this life at 4:15 p.m. Friday, November 29, 1968 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. He was a resident of the Pleasant Ridge Community of Green County. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. Mr. Hudson is survived by one nephew: Frank Caven, Greensburg and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 1 with burial in the Caven Cemetery. Rev. Manly Towles officiated. Active Pallbearers were Lloyd Pickett, Pauley McAfee, Billy Lobb, Paul Gardner, Boyce Beard and J. B. Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers were Eugene Montgomery. Owen Wright, John Martin, Curl Nunn, Mason Bishop and Leslie Puryear.
