Adam was born in Pennsylvania and grew up near Barnesboro.

Adam met Millie and he and Millie moved to Cleveland, Ohio.

Everyone called him John.

John and Millie had no children.

They lived at 3782 East 55th Street Cleveland, Ohio and rented from John and Irene Grandel. John and Irene had a daughter named Peggy and Peggy called John "Mr. John".

John was always dressed with color coordinated outfits. He had a Yellow matching hat, shirt, slacks, and shoes. He had a Powder Blue set as well as many other colors.

He always had a cigar in his hand and he drove a nice car. He loved his Riveria and always made sure it was super clean.

Later, they moved down the street and rented an apartment on the corner of East 55th and Fleet Avenue above Lapkas Delicatessen.

When Peggy was learning how to drive, he would pick her up and let her drive around town in his new car. After he let her drive, they would go to the bar where they would have a soft drink. Peggy thought the world of "Mr. John."

John had an old wind up Victrola and gave it to Peggy with old Victrola records and Peggy cherished it.

During the Summer, John and Millie would take Peggy to Pennsylvania (near Barnesboro) where John's mother lived. She had a home that had no plumbing, so we had to use the out house. She had a well outside, so we had to get water from the well in order to use it for washing and cooking. John's mother woke up early in the morning and she would have a pot of coffee brewing on her coal stove. We had homemade toast in the morning as well. She was the best cook and made Halushki like no one has.

In the morning, we could sit on the front porch that had a swing and look up at the cows on the mountainside.

Next to the house, was a grocery store and across the street a bit was a bar that served the best thin crust pizza; it was always fun going there.

John had relatives in Barnesboro whose last name was Greggi. John's nephew Vince Greggi and Peggy were friends since they were children.

The Greggis were so polite and always welcomed everyone.

When John and Millie got older, they moved to Barnesboro Pennsylvania and got a trailer and land behind John's sister's house.

Millie became sick and spent most of her time on the floor. John eventually went to the nursing home and died.

After John died, Vince sent Peggy all of the photos that John had kept.

They are thought of often and missed dearly.
