Graveside services were conducted in the Dennis Cemetery Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Flora Howes Clampitt, 87, of Chicago. The Rev. Linwood Potter officiated and arrangements were by Doane, Beale and Ames funeral directors. Mrs. Clampitt was a native of Dennis and with her husband, the late Frederick J. Clampitt, spent many summers on the Cape. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. John Gibbs of Sagamore; a brother, Frank E. Howes of Dennis; two half sisters, Mrs. Benjamin Swift of West Springfield and Mrs. Edgar Bearse of Dennis and Hyannis, and a half brother, Mr. Henry W. Howes of Dennis. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
