MRS. ELIZABETH SMITH
Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, 77, of 149 George Avenue, died Thursday night at 11:45 in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She had been a patient there since Tuesday.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Parsons Baptist Church.
Surviving are a nephew, John Bevan, Buffalo, N. Y., and four nieces, Mrs. T. W. Weisser, Clarks Summit; Mrs. Lois Jones, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Wallace Ross, Parsons section, and Mrs. Donald Powell, Shavertown.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 from the funeral home, 159 George Avenue, Parsons section, Rev. Willard F. Edmunds Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Hollenback Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight 7 to 9 and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
