She was born in Taylorsville, Utah to John Albert Howell and Annie Pearl Butterfield Howell.

On January 25th, 1925 she married Joseph Parley Allred.

She was preceded in death by parents, her husband and an infant son.

She is survived by two sons, R. Lynn Allred (Jeannene) - Clearfield, Utah and Gary P. Allred (Margie), Murray; three daughters, Donna Eastman, Herriman; Lyla Jean Gough , Salt Lake City and Karen Francis (Chuck), Salt Lake City; sisters, Verla, Carol and Violet; 24 grandchildren, 54 great-grand-children and 14 great-great-grand-children.
