Mrs. Marcus (Esther Ruth) Brown, 80, of Route 3 died 10:22 p.m. Tuesday in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Monson-Ater Funeral Home, where friends may call 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was born in Latham. She married Marcus Brown in Decatur. He died in 1953.
Surviving are sons, Roy, Ralph, William and Jack, all of Decatur; daughters, Mrs. Bill (Betty) Brinkman of Decatur; Mrs. Raymond (Norma) Nelson of Addison; brother, Dewey Howe of Decatur; sister, Mrs. Velma Frees of Decatur; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
A son and a daughter preceded in death.
