Carolyn M. Howard, 73, of Sullivan, passed away at 1:02 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan. Born Sept. 2, 1932 in Sullivan, she was the daughter of William B. and Gladys Adams McCoy. She was a retired registered nurse at Mary Sherman Hospital, a 1950 graduate of Sullivan High School and a 1953 graduate of Union Hospital School of Nursing. Survivors include, a son William "Will" Howard of Houston, Texas and her mother Gladys of Sullivan. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Banks & Brust Funeral Home, 400 North Court Street, Sullivan. Cremation will follow with burial at Center Ridge.
