WILLIAM HENRY HOUSER died at 10 o'clock this morning at his home in Sharpsburg of complications, aged 80. He was formerly tollgate keeper on the Sharpsburg pike, but had lived retired for some years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary M., and these sons and daughters: John, at home; William, Mrs. Harvey Boyer, Thomas, Mrs. Malcolm Gardner and Samuel, all of Washington; brothers, Charles B. Houser, Downsville; Daniel P., Sharpsburg; and Michael N. Mondell.
Funeral Saturday at the Lutheran church; burial in Mountain View cemetery. (Shepherdstown papers please copy).
