Clara House

CALDWELL — Services for Clara House, 75, Roseburg, Ore., formerly of Caldwell, who died Tuesday in a Roseburg nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Flahiff Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. Charles Crane, First Christian Church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

She was born May 13, 1901, in Oklahoma, and married Elden L. House, April 18, 1923, in Manchester, Okla. He died May 30, 1962.

She moved last year from Caldwell to Roseburg and was a member of the First Christian Church, matron, Order of Eastern Star, and the Past Matrons Club, all of Caldwell.

Surviving are two sons, Clyde F., Dillon, Mont., and Maj. Jerry R., stationed in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. George (Barbara) Breeze, Roseburg, and Mrs. Preston (Verda) Wilkins, Colville, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
