Family dog, Patches, watches over the grave of Great-Great-Great-Grandmother Sally (Houghton) Bruce's grave. Sally is buried next to her husband, Jonah, and her Mother and Father-in-law, Benjamin and Philadelphia (Wheeler) Bruce, who were married in 1781, Worchester County, Massachusetts. Benjamin, a Shoemaker, was a Revolutionary War Patriot, and his dad, Timothy (1731 – 1787), was a minister in Massachusetts. Benjamin's mother was Susanna (Joslin) Bruce (1733 – 1832). Timothy (20) & Susanna (18) were married February 13, 1752 in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts.
