Miss Carol Anita Hosch Buffington, age 57, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009.
She is survived by: daughters and son-in-law, Lakeshia and James McKinnon, Lithonia, GA, Yosa Buffington, Atlanta, GA, and Tendai Buffington, Atlanta, GA; son, Michael Driscol, Atlanta, GA; 14 grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Iris and William McCluskey, Dacula, GA, Pamela Buffington, Norcross, GA, Nina Buffington, Norcross, GA, Kimberly and David Taylor, Oxford, GA and Tamelia Tooks, Atlanta, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Jacqueline Anderson, Gary, IN, Ricky T. Nuckles, Atlanta, GA, Bernard and Sylvia Slayton, Atlanta, GA, Dewayne Johnson, Decatur, GA, Chris and Maryanne Nuckles, Warrenton, GA, Shelton and Joanne Slayton, Buford, GA, Toby Fox, Decatur, GA and Jeremy Johnson, Atlanta, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Miss Buffington was born September 30, 1952 in Gwinnett County, GA. She was a 1971 graduate of Buford High School in Buford, GA. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Buford, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with Dr. Kary Harris officiating and with remains being placed in state at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Buford City Cemetery in Buford, GA.
