Marlyne "Marcy" Freeman, 83, a resident of Sun City Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 29, 2012. Marcy was born Dec. 2, 1928, in Philadelphia. She was a cancer survivor of 43 years, a life-member of City of Hope, Hadassah, and a member of Temple Bet Knesset. Marcy was preceded in death by her life-long husband, of almost 60 years, Mal Freeman. They were always in love with each other. She is survived by her two children, Beth Zetoony and Michael Freeman; grandchildren, Michelle Nudell, David Zetoony, Paul and Michaela Freeman; and great- grandchildren, Samantha, Ari and Avi. Marcy has been blessed with some dear friends, for which she has always been grateful. Memorial services will be at 9:20 a.m., Friday, Dec. 7, in the chapel at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005. Friends and family are invited to home of Beth Zetoony at noon. Please contact for address. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to the Nevada Cancer Institute.
