There are three seperate chain linked cemeteries that are connected to each other here. I was in these cemeteries yesterday May 30, 2013. The first section has 3 King family stones and that is all. The second section has a variety of family stones: Adams, Kozee, Sparks among others. The third section is mostly Bays family.
A survey was done of these cemeteries in 1989 by a Gene Adams which can be seen at the KYGENWEB Carter Co., KY site where all 3 cemeteries are called the Adams (1) Cemetery. the King section is not mentioned at all and mostly just the Adams family are mentioned. The Horton's mentioned as being in this cemetery are: E.C. Horton born 5-4-1849 & died 11-2-1934 (this would be Elkanah Horton); Alice Horton born 2-28-1864 & died 8-3-43 (this would be Alice Lawson (Elkanah's wife); Nan Horton born 11-20-1894 & died 12-23-1921; Watt Horton born 5-28-1893 and wife Letha Adams Horton born 7-17-1902 & died 11-23-1998.

---
The story goes that John Thompson Horton while married to his wife Elizabeth Cox (being one of the 4 Horton brothers who married 4 Cox sisters) had an affair with Sarah Jane Hall and the two of them had two sons; Lorenzo Dow Horton and Elkanah (El Canor) Horton.
