Etta Kate Britton, 90, of Life Care Center of Greeneville, formerly of the Cross Anchor community, died Monday morning at the center.
She was a retired employee of Magnavox, which later became Philips Consumer Electronics Co.
Mrs. Britton was a housewife and the widow of William Robert "Bill" Britton.
She was a member of Cross Anchor Presbyterian Church.
Her family noted that she was a devoted mother and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.
She was a daughter of the late John and Ethel Herndon Horne and was preceded in death by two brothers: Amit Horne and George Horne; and two sisters: Estella McPeek and Barbara Shanks.
