Willie Jewell Horn was born January 27, 1918 in Padgett, Texas to Willie Lee and Lois (Murray) Barr. She was a homemaker and a member of Live Oak Baptist Church in Jacksboro. She married Corbie Horn October 21, 1933; he preceded her in death April 1, 1986. She is also preceded in death by her parents; 2 daughters, Reta Masey and Kae Parker; and 1 brother, Billy Joe Campsey.
Jewell passed away Wednesday March 14, 2007 in Jacksboro, Texas at the age of 89 years.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Ronnie Parker of New Braunfels, Texas; Debbie Simpson and husband, Frank of Round Rock, Texas; and Don Masey Jr. of Colorado; sisters, Eva Linger and husband Leslie of Vega, Texas; Ava Rhoades of Jacksboro, Texas; sister-in-law, Norma Campsey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will 4 pm - 5 pm Friday March 16, 2007 at Coker Funeral Home. Service will be 10 am Saturday March 17, 2007 at the Coker Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
