Wife of Michigan State Senator Warren G. Hooper who was murdered. MARYSVILLE -- Callienetta Hooper, 78, of 1725 Connecticut Ave., died unexpectedly Saturday, March 9, 1985 in her home.  She was born Feb. 24, 1907 in Escanaba and lived in Marysville the past 20 years.  She was married to Warren G Hooper who died Jan. 11, 1945.

Mrs. Hooper was a music teacher in the Marysville Public Schools until her retirement.  She was a life member of Albion Chapter 124 Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two sons, John C., Port Huron, and Robert L., Troy; three grandchildren, Holly, Teri and Heath; a brother Norman Cobb, Southfield; and several nieces and nephews.

A brother Charles Cobb, and sister, Nicora Monique, died earlier.

Services are 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home-North Chapel.  The REv. Cannon D. Roy Lees of Grace Episcopal Church will officiate.  Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Albion.
