Donald William Honey, 69, Holton, died Tuesday, August 26, at a Topeka hospital.
He was born February 12, 1911, in Carson, North Dakota, the son of Edward Leroy and Luella Amila Mick Honey.
Mr. Honey was a watchmaker. He owned East Side Jewelry in Holton since 1949. He retired in April 1980.
He was an aircraft mechanic in the Army Air Corps during World War II and served in England. He was a member of Holton Lodge No. 42, AF&AM, Holton Memorial Post No. 1367 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Mary L. Bair Post No. 44 of the American Legion, Rotary Club and the First United Methodist
Church, all of Holton.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Naomi Bockhouse, East Moline, Illinois.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery.
