Mrs. Pearl Marie Holt Blackard, 92, of Stuart passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Blue Ridge Nursing Center.
She was born on November 5, 1917, in Patrick County to the late Rush and Ella Wilson Holt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shuble Blackard; a son, J.C. Blackard; a grandson, Charles Henry Blackard; two sisters, Dallas Hensley and Jane Ray; and two brothers, Moir and Noel Holt.
She was a member of the Church of Christ of Dry Pond.
Funeral services for Mrs. Blackard will be held at Moody Funeral Home; burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
