MRS. BERTHA FRIEDMAN HOLT, 93, of 277 S. Perkins, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East after a short illness. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Beth El Emeth Cemetery. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. She was a member of Anshei Sphard-Beth El Emeth Congregation and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Holt, the widow of Frederic Holt, leaves a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Baruchman Norvell, with whom she lived; a son, George Holt of Crystal River, Fla.; a brother, Abe Friedman of Memphis; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
