Mr. Bernard F. Holstun Dies In Lanett.
Mr. Bernard F. Holstun died at his home in Lanett last Saturday, aged 42 years. He had been ill for a number of years and had just returned from Ashville, N.C., where he had gone with the hope of regaining his strength.
The deceased is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Holstun, of this city; two brothers, Mr. John Holstun, of this place, and Mr. Neil Holstun, of Lanett; two sisters, Mrs. P. B. Schuessler, of Columbus, and Mrs. Will Hairston, of LaGrange.
The remains were interred at the family cemetery, five miles east of LaFayette, last Sunday afternoon, the funeral services conducted by Rev. L. A. Holmes, pastor of the LaFayette Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. W. T. Hamby, pastor of the Lanett Methodist Church. Mr. Holstun was highly esteemed by all who knew. He had been a member of the Methodist Church since boyhood.
