Mildred Ruth Holshouser, after a long battle with ALS, passed away on November 13, 2014. She is now with the Lord, at peace and free from the struggles of the disease. Mildred was born to Jesse and Vina Robbins in Midland Texas on September 8, 1946.

Her family moved from Midland, Texas to Warr Acres, Oklahoma in 1963. There she met and married Jim Holshouser in 1966. The Lord blessed them with 3 children and 15 grandchildren.

Mildred was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A dedicated homemaker, faithfully tending to the needs of her family. She was a devoted Christian. She loved the Lord and His church, They were very important to her. She and her husband, Jim, have been members of Sherwood Baptist Church since May 1985. The Lord gifted her with a beautiful singing voice, by which she ministered in her church. Her desire was the Lord get the Glory and the people be blessed. She will be sorely missed.

Mildred is survived by her husband Jim Holshouser, their three children and their spouses and their children. Mike Holshouser, his wife Carla, their children James, Anna, Michael, Sean, Samuel and Benjamin. Janie Clouse and her husband Greg, their children, Matthew, Joshua and Megan. Stephen Holshouser and his wife Amber, their children Allison, Gabriel, Eli, Owen, Liberty and Abel.

Mildred is also survived by two sisters, Vivian Susil and her husband Phil, Velma Robbins and her daughter Zena Robbins. By three brothers, J. D. Robbins, David Robbins and his wife Dawn, and Jerry Robbins.

Funeral Services for Mildred will be at Sherwood Baptist Church 3313 NW 32nd, Newcastle Oklahoma at 10:00 AM on Monday November 17, 2014. Grave side will be at 11:45 AM the Fairview Cemetery at Tuttle, OK.
