Our Angel, Kathryn Gracelynn Holmes Harlock, left the physical constraints of earth and joined the family awaiting her in Heaven on Sat. Jan. 28, 2012. Kat is survived by her Beloved Husband, Gregory Michael Harlock, and their most cherished accomplishments, daughters Britlee Lynn, Shannon Christine and son Joseph Gregory. Also left to mourn her loss but cherish her memory are her parents, David Wayne and Diana Lynn Burnette Holmes, brother David Robert Holmes and his wife Melissa, sister Danicka Lee Irvin and her husband Michael, 3 nieces and 3 nephews. Kat was anxiously awaiting the birth of her nephew, David, due in March. She will also be missed greatly by her adopted Grandma, Thelma Altizer. The Harlock side of her family will also be grieving the loss of a granddaughter, daughter, sister and aunt. She leaves behind grandfather Leroy Hamm, parents Kimberly and Dave Coday, Monica Harlock, brothers Lee Harlock, Kory Watson, Mathew Mathias, sisters Missy Castle, Kristalyn Bush, 6 nieces and 4 nephews. Kat has so many aunts, uncles and cousins left to honor her memory, there is not enough space to name. Besides Kat's large circle of family, she leaves behind an even larger circle of friends. Kat was fortunate in that she was not only a beautiful woman, she was an even more beautiful person. Kat had an inner beauty that shone through her eyes and her smile. Kat had a heart that was more immense than the span of an ocean. Anyone who met Kat was touched instantly by her warmth, charm and genuine concern for her fellow man. This is not just a cliche. This was Kat. Her nature is never more so apparent than in the way she raised her children. When you see her children, you see Kat. Kat leaves behind a Legacy of Love. She will never be forgotten. Kat will live on in the hearts of all who know her. A Celebration of Kat's Life will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home at 6450 W. Northern, Glendale Az. 85301. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. with Memorial Service at 4. Please honor Kat's commitment to Organ Donation. Register at donatelifeaz.
