Jacqueline (Holmes) Carlisle, age 89, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital. Mrs. Carlisle was born July 4, 1924 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late John and the late Myrtle (Wright) Holmes. She lived in Wayne. She was employed by NJ Bell, Paterson many years ago. Mrs. Carlisle was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wayne and a choir member. She was also a member and Soloist, for 69 years, of the Order Of the Eastern Star #205, Mountain View Chapter, Wayne.
She is survived by her two daughters: Janet and her husband Peter Dewes, Nancy and her husband Robert Kinch, one son: Richard Carlisle, six Grandchildren; Tracy, Peter, Victoria, Eric, Benjamin & Natalie and four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Cody & Kaydence.
She was predeceased by her Husband, Raymond Walter on 3/26/2006.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM with an Eastern Star service at 7:30 PM.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 am will be celebrated by Rev. David Pierson.
Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
