She lived in Brunswick Maine, Centerville on Cape Cod, Lexington, Acton and Littleton. She was an honorary member and past president of Acton Woman's Club, a former member of the Acton School Committee and former deacon of the First Church Unitarian in Littleton. She was known for her cooking and many years of a small local catering service with her good friend Ollie Tinker. She was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great granchildren; She is the sister of Harold Holmes and his wife Betty Ann of Noank, CT. and the late Evelyn, Pearl, Alice, Henry and George.
