Eleanore (Holmes) (Hollis) Blaisdell was the daughter of the late Henry and Martha (White) Holmes. She was the wife of Elliott B. Blaisdell and formerly Gerald Hollis who died in 1978. She was a graduate of Reading High School Class of 1932.
She lived in Brunswick Maine, Centerville on Cape Cod, Lexington, Acton and Littleton. She was an honorary member and past president of Acton Woman's Club, a former member of the Acton School Committee and former deacon of the First Church Unitarian in Littleton. She was known for her cooking and many years of a small local catering service with her good friend Ollie Tinker. She was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great granchildren; She is the sister of Harold Holmes and his wife Betty Ann of Noank, CT. and the late Evelyn, Pearl, Alice, Henry and George.
