Annie Hollinsworth, 98, Tompkinsville, died May 23, 2004, at the Monroe County Medical Center.
She was a member of the Tompkinsville Church of Christ.
Born in Monroe County on Jan. 23, 1906, she was a daughter of the late James Edward and Eliza (Lyon) Oliver and the wife of the late Joe Hollinsworth.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda McLerran, Moss, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Bonnie Ann Stephens (and her husband, Phil), Celina, Tenn., and Charles Barry McLerran (and his wife, Linda), Moss; two great-grandchildren, Rita Michelle Thompson (and her husband Jason), Gainesboro, Tenn., and Clint Curtis McLerran, Moss; and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Garland Hollinsworth; three brothers, Earlie, Otis and Leo Oliver; and four sisters, Rachel Sherfey, Flossie Elmore, Jazzie Oliver and Hazel Trivett, all preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on May 25 at the Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with Bill Threet officiating. Burial was at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Ralph and Mitch Hollinsworth and Daryl, J.C., Jimmy and Ray Oliver.
