Funeral services for Lillian I. Davis, 78, of Waynesboro, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken Walters officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro.

Born on Monday, July 3, 1933, she was a native of Waynesboro. A member of Central Baptist Church, she was a homemaker. She died on Monday, June 11, 2012 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.

She is survived by her husband, James H. Davis, of Waynesboro; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mitchell and Rose Davis, Kenny and Lesia Davis and Aubrey and Lisa Davis, all of Waynesboro; a sister, Lena Mae Lawrence of Moselle; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
