EAST PEORIA - Marie E. Adams, age 86, of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of East Peoria, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at 12:48 p.m. at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
She was born Aug. 4, 1925, in Canton to Joseph F. and Naomi R. (Turner) Hoffman. She married Lucius J. Adams on April 25, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. He passed away April 30, 1990, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
