Arthuretta "Hope" Vickers Hockless, 43, died at 7:47 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, in a Beaumont,
Texas, hospital.
Born in Welsh, she lived in the Beaumont and Welsh areas most of her life.

Survivors include three sons, Claude Michael Wiley of Newport, Va., Delbert Chapman of Welsh, and Jeremy Watkins of Welsh; two daughters, Charlesetta Brook Green of Beaumont, and Audrey Anna Woodard of Welsh; five grandchildren; her mother, Lola Mae Vickers Guillory of Welsh; father,Raymond Charles of Los Angeles; three brothers, Lawrence Vickers Sr. of Beaumont, Michael Lloyd Vickers of Silbey, Texas, and Claude Dalton Vickers of Dallas, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles,nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, in New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Welsh. The
Rev. Nathan Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in Eastridge Cemetery under the direction of
Fondel Memorial Chapel of Jennings. Visitation is from 10 a.m. Saturday,
