Hockensmith
Scotty Hockensmith, 40 of Stamping Ground died suddenly at his home Tuesday afternoon. He was employed as a data operator at the University of Kentucky. A member of the Stamping Ground Baptist Church, he is survived by his wife, Patsy, two daughters, Mrs. Marianne Riddle, Stamping Ground and Lori Hockensmith, also of Stamping Ground; one granddaughter, Beth Ann Riddle; and his parents Lora Warfield and Louis Hockensmith, Stamping Ground.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home in Stamping Ground with Rev. Glenn Molette and Rev. Les Longard officiating. Active pallbearers will be members of Scott Masonic Lodge 702. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the Stamping Ground Baptist Church. Burial in the Masonic Cemetery in Stamping Ground. Friends may call at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home Thursday and Friday.
