A native of Sullivan County, she had lived in the Fall Branch Community most of her life and was a member of Logan's Chapel Methodist Church.
Surviving our sons James Monroe archer of Kingsport and Rufus Kelley Archer, Fall Branch; brothers, Paul (Pink) Hite, Fall Branch and Fleming Hite, Kingsport; sisters, Mrs. Pearl Patterson, Fall Branch, and Mrs. Delphia Hickman, Blountville; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the Fall Branch Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Frank Mason, Rev. Howard Carter, and Rev. Burl Cox will conduct the service. Burial will be in Logan's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening and also at the home of Rufus Archer.
