Joseph Gordon Hinton, 82, died Dec. 17, 1992 at Cross County Hospital. He was the husband of Wilene Bilbery Hinton and was the son of Willie Welbourn Hinton and Mollie Paul Williams Hinton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Hinton served in the Army during World War II. He was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his wife, survivors are a daughter, Glenda Runions of West Memphis and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Kernodle chapel in Wynne on Dec. 18. Burial was in Cogbill Cemetery in Wynne, Gene Catterton, Fred Strasser and Richard Runions officiating.
