Born in Oblong, Illinois on June 4, 1948, he was the son of Floyd A. Hinterscher and Mildred (Buerster) Hinterscher.
He served with the U. S. Army. He was a financial advisor for AXA Equitable. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Marion, Illinois and he was also a member of the Marion Knights of Columbus.
Thomas is survived by his mother, Mildred Hinterscher; a daughter and son-in-law, Shelley & Dr. Kerry Evans; four grandchildren: Paige Evans, Victor Thomas Evans, Ashlyon Evans and Luke Carter Evans; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ron & Jeanne Hinterscher and Tim Hinterscher; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan & Doug Long, Rita & Keith Wirey and Tammy & Dave Jaben and several nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Floyd A. Hinterscher; a brother, Kevin Hinterscher and a sister, Diane Hinterscher.
Burial will follow in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
