Lt. Col. Charles M. Hines Sr., 78, of Hampton Cove passed away Monday. Mr. Hines was preceded in death by a son, Charles M. Hines Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dene Hines; son, Ken Hines of Seattle; daughter, Judy Hines Godsey and husband Raleigh of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Kenny Hines and wife Nichole, Kevin Hines and wife Nicola, Lee Godsey, Will Godsey and Carolina Godsey; great-granddaughters, Alex Hines and Alya Hines; sister, June Dubishar of Glynn Ellen, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
