Mrs. Clawges was born Dec. 2, 1939, in Bradford, Pa., the daughter of Earl Hinchman and wife Florence, nee
Messner.
She received her education at the Bradford, Pa., schools.
Mrs. Clawges was a member of the Eagles Club of Pacific.
She was employed at the Jefferson Smurfit Company, Pacific.
Mrs. Clawges was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Florence Hinchman.
She is survived by two sons, Jeff Clawges and wife Joni, Lake Sherwood, and Greg Clawges and wife Susan,Ballwin; one daughter, Karen Powers, Tampa, Fla.; one brother, Leland Hinchman, Bradford, Pa.; one sister,Lorraine Colosimo, Millsboro, Del.; five grandchildren, Bryan, Bradley, Zachary, Ryan and Ashley; nieces;nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 20, at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific, with the Rev.
Earlwood Towne officiating.
Interment was in Sunset Cemetery, Pacific.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society are preferred.
