Daisy Alice Brewer of Willcox died on October 17, 2001 in Willcox at the age of 83. Daisy was born on June 9, 1918 on the Fletcher Ranch near the Animas River in Lordsburg, New Mexico to Robert Gibson and Mattie Myrtle Jane ( Noling) Hill. She came to Arizona from New Mexico in the 1930's and moved to Willcox in 1982 from Florence.
Daisy was a homemaker and was very dedicated to her family. On August 11, 1934, she married Del Bert Brewer in Globe.
She is survived by her daughters, Alice (Jim) Amalong, Annie (Bill) Jordan, both of Willcox, Myrtle (John) LaGrange of Jourdanton, Texas, and Janet Brewer of Willcox. Also surviving is her sister, Nina Green, of Willcox; along with 12 grandchildren; 45 great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Preceding her in death was her husband Del Bert on March 4, 2000, her parents and two sisters; Myrtle and Ruth.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 20th, at 10 a.m., at the Willcox LDS Church with viewing one hour prior. Burial followed at Cochise Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Westlawn Chapel & Mortuary of Willcox.
