She was born in Lakewood, Ohio on June 21, 1925 into the home of the late William R. Hill and Ethel (Flick) Hill. Adele attended Lakewood High School in Ohio. Her interests in her teen years were roller skating, music, dancing and later studying the Bible, attending church with her friends, and animal welfare. She loved all animals especially her own cats, dogs, and birds that were her companions over her lifetime. Adele was a homemaker and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Ellettsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Armand on July 21, 2002.
Adele is survived by her children, Donald Armand and wife Becky of Gosport; IN., Lynn Lerchbacker of Lorain, OH., and Karen Kantor and husband Bill of Avon Lake, OH.; granddaughter, Michelle Britvec and husband Scott of Lorain, OH.; and great-granddaughters, Jessica, Anna, and Kati Britvec of Lorain, OH.
Funeral services will be held at Chandler Funeral Home on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Doug Carter conducting the services. Burial is to follow at Chambersville Cemetery.
