Elnora A. "Blllle" Hibbs, 73, South Louisville, died Tuesday at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was the former Elnora A. Ashford, a native of Pulaski, Tenn., and a retired operator for South Central Bell Telephone Co., where she had worked 40 years. She was a maintenance employee of Churchill Downs and a member of South Louisville Christian Church and Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors: her husband, Richard H. Hibbs; two brothers, Garland Ashford of Dumas, Texas, and Edward E. Ashford of Elizabethtown; and two sisters, Ester Kirk of Leavenworth, Ind., and Ruby Holmes. Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third St. Entombment: Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation: after 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts: American Heart Association.
