Amalia "Mollie" Bath, 98, formerly of Loveland, died Monday, July 25, at Bonell Good Samaritan Center, Greeley.
She was born Aug. 1, 1906, to David and Sophia (Jung) Hettinger in Dittel, Russia.
She came to the United States in 1912. Her family lived in Wyoming and Nebraska for a short while before moving to Windsor, where she attended all grades and received an eighth-grade diploma.
On Aug. 16, 1923, she met and married Henry Bath Jr. in Loveland. They had seven children; one died at 9 months of age.
When they were first married, the Baths farmed east of Campion, and then contracted working sugar beets, shocking grain and other farm labor before returning to farming in 1940
After the death of husband in 1964, Mrs. Bath worked as a dishwasher at the Western Steak House for a number of years before going to work at TRW, then Colorado Crystal as a quartz cutter and polisher. She retired in 1975.
Mrs. Bath was a wonderful mother who loved her family and doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors are two daughters, Norma Morhlang of Pueblo and Donna Jurgens and husband Ken of La Salle; a son, Harry Bath and wife Eileen of Loveland; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, Orlene Croissant, Marion Wagner and Lucille Bath; a son, A. Wayne Bath; two great-grandsons, Darren Marsh and Jonathan Mohrlang; four sisters and four brothers.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Loveland Burial Park.
Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. today at Allnutt Hunter Chapel, Loveland.
