There is no death date listed for Rosa Avery and I have been unable to find a death record in Alabama. I was not convinced she is buried there but I was able to get a Jasper cemetery worker to look into it for me. He didn't find a written record but went to the cemetery, and using a metal pole was able to determine that somebody was in fact buried in the grave beside Gordon Avery.
