Survived by daughters, Aileen JORDAN, Patricia DILLINGER, of Stevensville, MI, Julia KUHN, Columbus, and Myrna MILLER, of Springfield, 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brothers, Wilbur and Harold HESKETT; sisters, Ida PARKINSON, Edna GARINGER, Nellie SCHAUB, Evelyn COLLIER, Mildred ANTHONY, Alice EYMAN, also, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday SCHOEDINGER Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., where friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Charles WHITMAN officiating. Interment Union Cemetery."
Early leukemia; stroke, hypertension; glaucoma.
During the depression she worked for the county sewing on a treadle machine all day. Later she worked for the county as a matron for the juvenile court. At that time the court had facilities for juveniles awaiting court dates. Emma worked for the court until her retirement at the age of 62.
