Geraldine Barnes, 78, of Indianapolis, died on February 10, 2015. Geraldine was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 3, 1936 to Hansel and Anna Herring.
She worked as a cashier for Kroger's for 22 years, retiring in 1999. Most of all she loved her family and was a wonderful, wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a long time, faithful member of the Speedway Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Thomas and Jack Herring.
Geraldine is survived by her husband Kenny Barnes, daughter Sherry Schwartz, sons Kevin, Thomas Barnes, brothers Joseph and Robert Herring, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
