Juanita H. Chávez, age 83, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 22, 2003 peacefully at home with her loved ones by her side.
Juanita is the beloved wife of 57 years to Ernesto Aragón Chávez.
Juanita is survived by one daughter, Gloria Perea and her husband, Victor, one son, Manuel Chávez, one sister, Rosalina and her husband, Mario, one brother, Benny Herrera, four grandchildren, Denise Salguero and her husband, Jesse, Audrey Perea, Mark Perea and his wife, Andrea, Robyn Moreno and her husband, Jaime, nine great-grandchildren, Alicia, April, Samantha, Jay, Shantell, Gabriel, Savannah, Amaya and Brandon and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Chávez was a member of the Catholic Church.
A visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Fr. Daniel Balizan. Interment will follow at the San José de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Jerry Casaus, Jerry Casaus Jr., Jamie Moreno, Jessie Salguero, Nestor Herrera and Isias García.
