Mrs. Viola Boyd, fifty-eight years old, wife of Samuel D. Boyd, died at noon today at the family home, 1712 Commercial street. She was born in Illinois and had been a resident of St. Joseph 12 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters and two sons. They are, Mrs. D.E. Wallace, and Mrs. E.A Rapier, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Jessie Hay, Emporia, Kan., and Robert and Loren H. Boyd , St. Joseph. She was a member of the South Park Methodist church. The body is at Meierhofer's pending funeral arrangements.
