Janet Kay Brake 67, passed away May 6, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK. Kay was born October 12, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK to Roy L and Norma L. (Latham) Henthorn. Kay graduated in 1965 from Putnam City high school. She was talented in so many ways including camping, photography, gift wrapping, baking, ceramics and calligraphy. She grew up in the Girl Scouts and devoted many years as a troop leader. Her passion in life was cooking and always wished to be a gourmet chef. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Sean Brake; sisters, Barbara Sanderson and Lee Riggs. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Brake and husband Billy Larsen; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Brake; siblings, Paul Henthorn and wife Jeanine, James Henthorn, Margaret Valenzuela and husband Paul and Suzanne Henthorn; three grandchildren and one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
