OSAWATOMIE -- Mildred M. Booe, 87, of Osawatomie, formerly of Oswego, died Saturday evening, May 6, 2000, at the Heritage Manor Care Center, Osawatomie, after an illness.
She was born June 26, 1912, at Corning, to Edgar Leroy and Alice Pearl Ray Henry.
She married Ennis W. Booe on Jan. 19, 1930, at Gravitt, Ark. He preceded her in death in September of 1976.
She was in the dry cleaning business for several years. She also was an Avon lady and housekeeper.
Mrs. Booe was a member of the First Baptist Church at Osawatomie.
Survivors include three sons, Richard B. Booe of Osawatomie, Kurt A. Booe of Cherryvale, and Bill R. Booe of Salina; a daughter, Edith P. Ault of Greeley, Colo.; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at the Oswego Cemetery, with the Rev.Curtis Roesch officiating.
Friends may call after noon today at the Murdock Funeral Home,Oswego.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Murdock Funeral Home.
