Return From Funeral of Local Woman
Miss Iva Henry, former secretary to T. H. Steffens, president of the Sand Springs Railway, and a popular young woman of this city died Wednesday evening at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Crooks after an illness of long standing.
Miss Henry had been to various climes trying to benefit her health and came back to Sand Springs a few months ago, after all efforts proved in vain.
The body was sent to West Plains, Mo., her old home where it was interred beside the mother who died less than a year ago, and the father who died some years ago.
Funeral services were held there Saturday at 2 p.m.
Accompanying the remains were Mr. Crooks, S. P. Bell and Mr. and Mrs. Posey Henry of this city and Miss Hazel Henry of Chandler.
