Our fun loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Mary Ann Church, peacefully passed away on Friday evening, August 7, 2015.

Mary Ann was born October 13, 1934 in Panguitch to Gerald and Mary Henrie.

She married Clem Church in 1956.

Mary Ann was a longtime resident of Panguitch, which she loved and always considered her home, even though she resided in North Salt Lake for the past five years.

Mary Ann was an outdoor enthusiast and amateur geologist. She knew every back road in Garfield County and shared her knowledge with friends and family. She enjoyed collecting rocks from the canyons and mountains surrounding Panguitch. She loved to garden and can with her mother, read and play cards. She was a longtime owner and operator of the Blue Pine Hotel/Motel.

Mary Ann graciously devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family and friends, particularly her husband, mother, and grandson.

Surviving are her sons, Gary (Gwen) and Mark; and her siblings, John N. Henrie, Geri (George) Robinson, Amy (LaRell) Stevenson, and LaVera (Dave) Hatch. Also survived by four grandchildren, Angela, Adam, Chante, and Andrew; as well as seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clem.

A viewing will be held in the Orchard Thirteenth Ward Building, 261 East Center Street, North Salt Lake, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2015.
A graveside service will be held in the Panguitch City Cemetery on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. A luncheon and memorial will follow the services.
