Statesboro - Mr. Harold M. Hendrix, age 87, died Wednesday morning at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. The native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County was a retired farmer. Mr. Hendrix was a member of the Bulloch County Farm Bureau and attended the Nevils Creek Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, F.G. Hendrix and Donnie Mallard Beasley Hendrix; a brother, Linton Hendrix; a half brother, George Beasley; and four half sisters, Tulie Sharp, Annie Finch, Claudia Burke and Effie Finch.

Surviving are a nephew, Archie D. Finch Sr. of Portal; a cousin and care giver, Sue Finch of Portal; two nieces, Sybil Seymour of Brunswick and Peggy Firton of New Jersey; and a longtime care giver, Gloria Lundy of Statesboro.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Elder W.I. Tidwell Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of arrangements.
