Lloyd Orren Hendricks was born on September 21, 1926 in Fielding, Utah to Charles Orren and Emily Earl Hendricks. He died of a sudden illness on December 16, 2007 with his family at his side at the University of Utah Medical Center.

Lloyd was a Paratrooper in the 11th Airborne during World War II. He was then the owner/operator of Hendricks Trucking until his retirement. He liked to travel, but really loved to sit to visit with his large family and many friends. Lloyd married Jeannine Thompson on Oct. 1, 1953 in Clarkston, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Survivors include wife of 54 years, sons Kevin (Jan) and Rick. Also survived by daughters Hope (Rico) Dubach and Jeanette (Rod) Thomas, along with eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son Brent, parents, and siblings (Milton, Emmeline, Thelma, Iva, and Donna).

Funeral Services will be held Wed. December 19 at 11:30 a.m. at the Rose Park North 7th Ward, 1155 North Boy Scout Drive (1200 West). Friends and Family may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple and at the church on Wed. morning from 10-11:15 prior to the service.
Interment: Fielding City Cemetery, Fielding, Utah.
