Thomas Louis Heck, owner and operator of Heck's Dry Cleaners


Thomas Louis Heck, 71, of Highland Heights, died Monday, at his residence.

He was the owner and operator of Heck's Dry Cleaners, Newport, and a member of St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring, and St. Joseph's Seniors.

A son, David Heck, died in 1979.

Survivors include his wife, Marylou Zappin Heck; sons, Don Heck of Newport, Dan Heck of Highland Heights, and Tom Heck of Grants Lick; a daughter, Janet Knaley of Walton; brothers, Bill Heck of Highland Heights and Ray Heck of Newport; a sister, Dorothy Waite of Lakeside Park, and seven grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cold Spring.
